This document is available in English and Bahasa Indonesia. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.
1. The one rule behind all the rules
OnlineJobs Indonesia exists so that employers and workers can hire and get hired directly, safely, and honestly. Anything that exploits workers, deceives users, or moves people into unsafe situations is banned, whether or not it appears in the lists below.
2. Banned for everyone
- Fake identity. Using a false name, someone else's identity or photos, or misrepresenting who you are or who you represent.
- Scams and fraud of any kind, including phishing, fake checks, overpayment schemes, and requests to move conversation or payment off the platform to evade our rules.
- Harassment, threats, or discriminatory abuse toward any user.
- Illegal content or activity, including anything that facilitates money laundering or sanctions evasion.
- Automated scraping, bulk data collection, or reselling access to the platform or its data.
- Posting other people's personal data without their consent.
3. Banned for employers
- Charging workers anything. Ever. No "registration fees", "training fees", "equipment deposits", or paid certifications as a hiring condition. Recruitment on this platform is free for workers by design.
- Unpaid trial work. Short paid test tasks are fine. Unpaid "trials", "sample projects" used as free labor, or spec work as a hiring condition are not.
- Adult-industry work of any kind, including modeling, chat, or content moderation for adult sites.
- Commission-only or "pay when we get paid" bait, multi-level marketing, or recruiting people to recruit.
- Requiring payment in cryptocurrency, or recruiting for cryptocurrency, gambling, or "investment" schemes.
- Jobs that require the worker to receive and forward money or parcels. These are money-mule schemes.
- Ghost jobs. Posting roles you are not actually hiring for.
4. Banned for workers
- Account sharing or selling. Your account and its verified badge belong to you alone.
- Applying on someone else's behalf or subcontracting platform jobs without the employer's knowledge.
- Fabricated credentials, portfolios, or work history.
5. Enforcement
We review reports and act on them. Depending on severity we may warn, remove content, suspend, or permanently ban an account, and for verified fraud we may report to the relevant authorities. Subscription fees are not refunded on a ban for breach. To report a violation, use the report button on any job, profile, or message, or email [LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL].
