Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This document is available in English and Bahasa Indonesia. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.

1. Who we are

OnlineJobs Indonesia is operated by [LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME], a limited liability company registered in [LEGAL_ENTITY_STATE], with its registered address at [LEGAL_ADDRESS] ("we", "us", "the platform"). You can reach us at [LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL].

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME]. By creating an account or using the platform you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.

2. What the platform is, and what it is not

OnlineJobs Indonesia is a venue. We operate a job board and profile directory where employers can find and contact Indonesian remote workers, and workers can present themselves and apply to jobs.

We are not a party to any employment or engagement between an employer and a worker. Specifically:

  • Employers and workers contract with each other directly. We are not a party to, and do not broker, negotiate, or sign, any contract between them.
  • We are not a recruitment agency, staffing agency, labor outsourcing provider, or employer of record.
  • We do not employ workers, do not supervise their work, and do not guarantee their work quality, availability, or honesty.
  • We do not process, hold, or transmit salaries or any other payments between employers and workers.
  • We never charge workers. Access for workers is free.

Employers are solely responsible for how they engage a worker, including worker classification, contracts, tax, and compliance with the laws that apply to them. Workers are solely responsible for their own tax and legal obligations. Nothing on the platform is legal, tax, or employment advice.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Impersonating another person, or creating a profile for someone else without authority, is prohibited.
  • One account per person or company. Accounts are not transferable.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL] if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions and payment

  • Workers use the platform for free. We do not charge workers, and we prohibit anyone else from charging workers for access to jobs on the platform.
  • Employers need a paid subscription to post jobs and to contact workers. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
  • Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, including a money-back guarantee on your first month.

5. Acceptable use

The rules about what you may and may not do on the platform are in our Acceptable Use Policy. They are part of these Terms. The short version: no charging workers anything, no unpaid trial work, no adult-industry work, no scams, no harassment, and no fake identities.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (profiles, job posts, messages, photos, videos). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

You are responsible for the content you post. We may review, moderate, edit for formatting, or remove content that violates these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the law. Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright and IP Policy.

7. Identity verification

Workers can verify their identity with an Indonesian identity card (KTP). Verification is optional, requires separate explicit consent, and is described in detail in our Privacy Policy. A "verified" badge means the worker completed our verification process at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of the worker's conduct, skill, or continued identity.

8. Disputes between employers and workers

Because contracts are made directly between employers and workers, disputes about work, pay, or conduct are between those parties. We are not obliged to mediate. We may, at our discretion, review reported conduct and act on accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the law, or that create risk for other users or for us. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Fees already paid are not refunded on termination for breach.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any worker or employer on it is suitable for you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify registered users by email or in the product before the changes take effect. If you keep using the platform after the changes take effect, you accept them.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW_STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in [GOVERNING_LAW_STATE] have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties consent to that venue. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected where they apply.

14. Language

These Terms are published in English and Bahasa Indonesia. If the two versions differ, the English version applies to the extent permitted by law.
