Why is this cheaper than an agency?

Agencies mark salaries up 2 to 3 times for as long as the person works for you. We charge one flat fee, and you keep the relationship.

How do I pay someone in Indonesia?

You pay the worker directly. Most employers send with Wise, which reaches an Indonesian bank in seconds for around 1 percent; workers often receive through Payoneer. Skip international wires for monthly pay, where the fees add up.

Do I need an employer of record (EOR)?

Usually not. A foreign company with no Indonesian entity can engage an Indonesian independent contractor directly, and the contractor handles their own taxes. Keep the work outcome-based rather than running the person like staff. This is general information, not legal advice.
